Here is an amazing mash-up of PUMA and the late great Alexandar McQeen. via hypebeast
Alexander McQueen’s crossover into sportswear was perhaps best exemplified with his ongoing relationship with PUMA with a seasonal collection bearing his name. I just saw this guy from Model City wearing this on BET and it’s SUPER DUPER FRESH! This is a Brian Wood “Kill the Count” Varsity jacket. I need one of these in my life, ASAP. Anyone know where I can get one?
My boy Sherif sent over this new site, New Supply Co, offering a B. Son’s Vertical Stripe Fleece and Fee assisted with some more examples at Revolve. I wasn’t familiar with B. Son’s so I looked them up and they’re a brand out of San Fran that provide a line of slouchy T-shirts, hoodies and cardigans for a real laid-back Bay Area feel. I really like the look of this piece, it reminds me of armour and I could picture Tupac wearing this in “California Love” and Jay or Kanye wearing it in “Run This Town”. This is definitely not your average hoodie, more of a nice piece to add to your collection and wow the masses. What do you think?
I just hit up the Ben Sherman sale at GILT and picked up 3 shirts and a tie. They’ve got some good shirts at a discount, so I recommend taking a look: Ben Sherman. I love Ben Sherman because they’ve got amazing style and a great fit. If you need an invite, access GILT Man through my Blogroll. Good luck!
America is in a revival phase. Old fashions and ideas are making a comeback in 2009 and probably will continue into 2010. Maybe it’s the recession that’s reignited a desire to embrace all things Americana. We’ve seen the reintroduction of cords, vests, and now the rugged boot. I remember back in High School everyone used to sport the Timberland Premium boots, but it wasn’t the look for me so I went for the Chukka style. I felt it was classier and more timeless. It’s actually a pair I’d still recommend. Read the rest of this entry »
These new Louboutins are out there, but pretty freakin’ sweet. So if you’ve been keeping an eye on fashion or been listening to the latest top 40 hits, you’ve probably heard of the brand Louboutin. I first heard of them in the Jay-Z song I Know. Typically they’ve been marketed towards women but now French luxury shoemaker Christian Louboutin debuted a small collection of men’s shoes for Fall/Winter 2009. “Well known for his fiery-red soles, these pairs are no different, and the solo sneaker style, the Louis, returns for Spring/Summer 2010 completely studded out. Available in black or white leather, with a retail price of around $1200 USD a pair.” (via Highsnobiety.com) What do you think?
I just spotted this incredible vest designed by Pharrell over at highsnobiety.com. This jacket is DOPE, I don’t know if I could pull it off but I’d love to try. What do you think?
After just announcing their partnership with Japanese brand Visvim for a line called Moncler V, the classic outerwear label now brings news of a collection by Grammy-winning musician Pharrell Williams. The collection features an assortment of all-black jackets, and includes a “pacifist” version of the bulletproof jacket (pictured) with Velcro-ed side slits, reversible matte/shiny down vests and elongated puffers. Each jacket is built with textiles from Bionic, Pharrell’s own company that produces fabric from recycled plastic bottles. Furthermore, printed linings feature images of lush forests, shot at dusk by Japanese artist Keita Sugiura. Prices and distribution details are yet to be finalized
