One of my favorite songs of 2010, La Roux’s In for the Kill, gets the remix treatment from one of my favorite artists, Kanye. ‘Ye seems to have his hands in everything right now with remixes of Justin Bieber and French Pop artist Stromae to working with the Wu, and now La Roux.

Will & Jada Smith’s daughter, Willow, is about to become a superstar. Jay-Z and the parents confirmed on Ryan Seacreast’s show this morning that Willow is now signed to Roc Nation. BTW, she’s only 9 years old. That is amazing and her new song is HOT, enjoy!

I heard the record first before I knew it was recorded by a nine year old. I knew it was a smash. Jay Brown said she was 9 and I said Whoa!… then he said she’s Will & Jada’s daughter and I said Whoa! Whoa! and it went from there. I met Willow out in Japan and the first thing she said was “I’m really nervous” and I thought that maturity explained exactly how she was feeling. I remember waking up early on a Saturday morning a few weeks ago and reading ‘Ye and JB trading tweets back and forth. Then ‘Ye teased us with the crazy that he was going to remix Runaway Love and throw the Chef on it. Well, no longer a crazy idea, here it is. Enjoy!

My friend at work turned me onto the original earlier this year and today I came across the remix featuring Kanye and Gilbere Forte on Nahright.com. My friend also told me that it’s been banging in European clubs for a year already. This song is amazing, enjoy!

Update: The homie DJ Kitsune hit us with a lil more info: “Stromae is a french rapping, belguim dance artist (on Universal Music France) that had easily the biggest dance record of the year in Europe. “Alors On Danse” was #1 in Germany (and 3 other countries) and for a french record that’s like a spanish song being #1 in the US. Maroon 5 has just released their first single off the upcoming album, Hands All Over, set for a September 21st release date. Misery is a decent pop track, but it sounds too much like a leftover track from It Won’t Be Soon Before Long. Which isn’t a bad thing, but hopefully the rest of the album will bring a fresh sound.
